After carefully monitoring the forecast for extremely low temperatures in the early morning hours, the decision was made to have a two-hour delayed start for all LPS schools on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Delay/Closure ProceduresIn 2011, the Littleton Public Schools Board of Education adopted the Colorado Academic Standards (CAS). In 2020, the Colorado Board of Education adopted revised standards in all content areas. From 2022 and on, the Colorado Department of Education will review and revise content standards on a rolling basis. Here is a link to the current Colorado Academic Standards.
As the Colorado Board of Education adopts revised versions of the Colorado Academic Standards for the various content areas, Littleton Public Schools works through Learning Services to engage educators in the standards in order to implement through Professional Learning Communities.
